Event: Scottsdale Welcomes New ADA-Compliant Nature Trail

picture-1 The Phoenix area may be known for amazing sunsets, great views and desert landscape- but getting outdoors is not easy for everyone.

The McDowell Sonoran Conservatory is unveiling the new Bajada Nature Trail on September 26th with one particular difference. This nature trail is accessible to everyone.

This half-mile trail exceeds ADA standards, and is a welcome change from the many less-than-accessible, but beautiful, nature trails scattered all over Arizona. Sound interesting? Check out the opening of this trail on September 26th from 7-10am. The trail is located at 18333 N. Thompson Peak Parkway- and if this is something that you’ve been waiting for, go ahead and tell the McDowell Sonoran Conservatory.
